Headies Award: BNXN Smiles Home With 2022 Bentley As Wizkid, Davido, Others Win Big (WATCH)

The 2022 Headies, which are now taking place in Atlanta, United States of America, have given individual prizes to Nigerian singers Olamide, Wizkid, and Adekunle Gold.

The Best Rap Album category at this year’s Headies was won by Olamide. His record, Carpe Diem, helped him win.

At the 15th Headies event held in Atlanta, Wizkid’s smash hit song “Essence” featuring Tems received the Best Collaboration and Best R ‘n’ B single awards.

Wizkid, whose real name is Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, also won Album of the Year for his song “Made in Lagos” (Deluxe Edition).

With his song “Sinner,” Adekunle Gold received the Songwriter of the Year award.

Born Daniel Benson, Buju defeats competitors including Ayra Starr, Zinoleesky, Lojay, and Ruger to claim the victory.

Wizkid received nominations for Male Artist of the Year, Best Music Video, Best Collaboration, African Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, and other awards.

Furthermore, Wizkid was nominated for awards in the Best Recording, Best R&B Single, Best Afrobeats Album, Album of the Year, and Viewers’ Choice categories.
