Grammy Awards 2022 Set To Be Postponed Amid COVID Fears

According to Billboard, the 2022 Grammy Awards are likely to be postponed for the second time in as many years due to concerns over the new Covid-19 version. On Monday, January 3rd, 2022, this was published on the Billboard website.

Last year’s Grammy Awards were also postponed in a similar manner on the 5th of January. Due to an increase of COVID-19 cases in Los Angeles, it was postponed until March 14th. The awards event was also relocated from the Staples Center to the Los Angeles Convention Center, which is less packed.

Despite the fact that the Grammy Awards 2022 has been postponed by the Recording Academy, the new Covid-19 variation is on the increase, and it is becoming a more likely direction. Wizkid, Burna Boy, Tems, Femi Kuti, and Made Kuti, all Nigerian celebrities, have been nominated for honors in this year’s showcase. Calls to the Recording Academy to confirm the news have so far been unsuccessful, according to Billboard.
