Femi Kuti & Son, Made, Wizkid, Burna Boy Nominated For Grammy Awards

Femi Kuti, an afrobeat legend, and his son Made have been nominated as nominees for the Grammy Awards in 2022.

Both artists were chosen for their Legacy+ CD, which includes songs such as ‘Stop The Hate’ and ‘Na Bigmanism Spoil Government.’

Wizkid and Burna Boy, two more Nigerian musicians, are also nominated for the 64th Grammy Awards.

Best Global Music Performance and Best Global Music Album were nominated for the musicians.

Rocky Dawuni (Voice of Bunbon Vol. 1), Angélique Kidjo (Mother Nature), and Daniel Ho & Friends (East West Players Presents – Live in Concert) are among the others.

Burna Boy, a two-time Grammy Award winner, was nominated in the Best Global Music Performance category for his duet with Angelique Kidjo.

The songs ‘Pa Pa Pa’ by Femi Kuti and ‘Essence’ by Wizkid and Tems were also nominated in this category.

The Recording Academy lavishes the award in honor of achievements in music in the United States.

Femi Kuti is the son of Fela Anikulapo Kuti, the late Afrobeat pioneer.
