Photographer Accuses Burnaboy Of Intellectual Property Theft

A Nigerian Photographer has taken to his social media page to call out Popular Singer and African Giant, Burna Boy for Intellectual theft.

According to @webgod30, he shared a similar picture in 2019 and he was convinced Burna Boy stole the idea for his album cover which was release in August 2020.

The photo was used in Burna Boy’s new album Twice as Tall which was released on Friday, August 4th, 2020.

The album was executively produced by legendary American producer and rapper Diddy, as well as Bosede Ogulu and Burna Boy himself.

‘Twice As Tall’ includes Burna’s single “Wonderful” along with 14 other tracks.

Back to Burna boys accuser, he sharing his side of the story, he wrote:

Remember this my picture from 2019?

That’s how @burnaboy went to copy and use it for #TWICEASTALL in 2020.

i cry out On behalf of my other brothers who cry that their ideas are being stolen.

This intellectual property theft is paining my lungs.

#Burnaboy must pay me damages.
