Burna Boy Wins ‘Best Africa Act’ At The 2022 MTV EMAs

Nigerian singer and performer, Burna Boy has won the ‘Best Africa Act’ at the recently concluded MTV Europe Music Awards ceremony.

The award ceremony took place in Düsseldorf, Germany on Sunday, 13 November, 2022 which saw Burna Boy edge out Ayra Starr, Black Sherif, Tems, Zuchu and Musa Keys to emerge the winner of the ‘Best Africa Act’ category. This is the second time the singer will be winning the category after bagging it in 2019.

Unfortunately the singer could not make it to the award show to receive his award in person, the singer took to his social media page to share his excitement at the win.
